Green Up! Gardening Workshop Offered in West Central Nebraska

What is in the fertilizer bag? How much fertilizer do I need to use? How do I use a fertilizer spreader? How do I clean out my garden sprayer? Come find out how to get the answers to all of these questions at the first-annual Green Up! gardening program offered in Kearney, Holdrege, and Curtis in late April.

UNL Extension and NCTA horticulture professionals will be teaching these evening programs across west central Nebraska to help gardeners and homeowners how to correctly calculate fertilizer needs, calibrate equipment and clean-up methods to reduce chemical waste, water contamination, and save money for the gardener.

This program will be offered in the following locations:

            Buffalo County Extension Office
