Collins wins SLMR’s Safe Race at Junction

McCool Junction, Neb. — Mike Collins of Council Bluffs started on the outside front row and drove to the win in round two of the SLMR Series’ Malvernbank.com Race for the Safe on Saturday at the Junction Motor Speedway.

Mike Marushak of David City was second, Mike Wiarda of Aurora third, Leon Zeitner of La Vista fourth and Justin Zeitner of LaVista fifth.

Micah Brown of Omaha won the Grand National Late Model feature, Shane Stutzman of Milford the Modified feature and Jim Baumer of Grand Island the 4-cyclinder feature.
