4-H Shooting Sports County Fair Event

           The annual Furnas County 4-H Shooting Sports County Fair “Competition Shoot” was held Saturday morning, June 23 at the Izaak Walton located south of Arapahoe.

 

The county 4-H Shooting Sports program is conducted by interested members of the Arapahoe Izaak Walton Chapter. Certified instructors in the Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports program serve as leaders of the Furnas County group. They include: Mark Hilker, Cambridge; Treg Fisher, Ryan Hunt and Terry Klein, all from Beaver City; Dan Kreutzer and Todd Monie, from Arapahoe; Chuck Tellus, Holbrook.

 

Competitive events were conducted in Archery, BB Gun and Shotgun.

 

Sponsors of the event include: Furnas County 4-H Council, Furnas County Ag Society, Arapahoe Izaak Walton, and the Republican Valley Pheasants Forever Chapter.
