Fourty members of the Verdigre FFA Chapter and four sponsors attended the State FFA Convention held in Linclon March 28 through 30.

 

The members participated in leadership skills events, career development contests, state proficiency awards, chapter contests, and member workshops.

 

Restults at the State L.S.E. contests:

 

• Creed-speaking: Angela Boggs, silver medal;

 

• Natural resources: Megan Sukup, silver medal;

 

• Cooperative-speaking: Sonya Sukup, bronze medal;

 

• Job interview: Kelsey Randa, silver medal;

 

• Senior Parlimentary Procedure: qualified for finals, gold medal plaque – members are Kelsey Randa, McKenzie Liska, Sonya Sukup, Ross Pierce, Sandie Liska, and Andrew Stracke;
