Emilia Woeppel, Nebraska State FFA Vice-president made a chapter visit to the Franklin FFA on February 29. She spent the day conducting workshops on various topics dealing with agriculture, careers, and FFA . The members enjoyed her presentations and gained a lot of insight from the different workshops.
The Franklin chapter had a busy FFA Week holding a homemade ice cream social for the members, staff, and 8th graders on Monday, a petting zoo for the pre-school and elementary, on Tuesday, A community breakfast on Wednesday, Freshman elementary presentations and delivery of business appreciation plates on Thursday, and a chapter meeting on Friday with root beer floats being served. Chapter members gained leadership skills while having a great time with the week’s activities.
