The Northwest FFA Chapter will hold its second annual worker auction Tuesday at Northwest High School in the school cafeteria. The sale will begin at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. If you are not able to attend but still wish to buy a worker, call the chapter adviser, Jessica Brondel, to place a bid. Brondel can be reached at school at (308)-385-6394, ext. 5125. If there is no answer, leave a message.
A complete listing of workers will be offered the evening of the sale. Terms of the sale include having FFA members do eight hours of labor at a time that is mutually agreed upon by both the buyer and worker. The buyer is to provide a noon meal. Work is to be completed in a reasonable time period after the sale date. With spring here, some work ideas might include: raking leaves, trimming trees, painting, washing windows, fixing fence, cleaning farm buildings, and garden work.
