USDA Official Visits Lone Wolf Meats New Facility at Eustis

Eustis, Neb., August 7, 2012 – USDA Rural Development Nebraska State Director Maxine Moul and staff visited Lone Wolf Wurst Meats, a local sausage manufacturer, in Eustis today.

Dawson Public Power District received a USDA Rural Development Rural Economic Development Grant which was combined with matching funds to create a revolving loan fund.  The first loan from the funds was made to FOOI, Inc. which combined other funding to construct the 8,000 square foot building that Lone Wolf Wurst Meats now occupies.  Two jobs were retained and 15 created at Lone Wolf Wurst Meats.

“Job retention and creation are priorities at USDA Rural Development,” said Moul.  “Lone Wolf Wurst Meats is an investment in the economic development and well-being of Eustis.”

“God bless all that has happened the past three years at LONE WOLF WURST MEATS (LWWM).  The new processing center has been operational since April 1, 2012. We at LWWM are very proud of our extremely high quality German sausages.  The distributors in Nebraska are now shipping products to seven states.  Our web site sales and sports vendor sales are reaching thousands of sausage lovers across the USA.  We at LWWM would like to thank the Rural Development team for all their support,” said Co-Owner C. Douglas Breinig, Lone Wolf Wurst Meats.
