800-900 lbs with thin flesh and favorable weighting conditions. Heifers 700-900
lbs not enough for a market test, few sales firm; steers and heifers 700 lbs and
under steady in a very limited supply. Slaughter cows and bulls firm to 2.00
higher. Trade active, demand good. Receipts 78 percent 600 lbs and over; 14
percent 600 lbs and under; 08 percent slaughter cows and bulls with 261 head
early. Feeder supply 90 percent steers and 10 percent heifers.
