Demand moderate to good for bred heifers, replacement stock cows and cow calf
pairs. Stock cows aged, blood tested and pregnancy checked prior to sale.
Prices per head. Most bred stock calving Apr through May unless noted. Receipts
approximately 25 percent young and middle age bred cows, 20 percent aged bred
cows, balance mostly cow-calf pairs.
Bred Heifers: Medium and Large 1 Small lot 1000 lbs 1125.00.
Replacement Stock: Medium and Large 1-2 Young 950-1545 lbs 950.00-1060.00.
Middle age 1190-1395 lbs 860.00-885.00; Aged 1100-1290 lbs 685.00-710.00.
Cow-Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 Young 865-1200 lbs with 100-180 lb calves
1100.00-1235.00, Two year old 790-1020 lbs with 105-165 lb calves
1200.00-1300.00, half load Herefords 960 lbs with 175 lb calves 1375.00;
Aged 900-1160 lbs with 130-280 lb calves 750.00-825.00, couple lots 1100-1160
lbs with 180-225 lb calves 900.00-910.00.
