Steer calves sold 5.00 to 6.00 lower instances of 8.00 lower. Heifer calves sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Demand moderate at best. The cattle board closed limit down along with all other commodities. Buyers showing increased interest in calves as yearling numbers dwindle. This week's supply was made of about 67 percent feeder steers, balance feeder heifers. Near 57 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 315-380 lbs 107.00-120.00; 510-590 lbs 92.00-94.25; 600-675 lb calves 90.35-93.50; 750-770 lbs 90.50-93.75; 815-890 lbs 89.00-90.25; 900 lb 89.50.
