Compared to last month feeder lambs sold 3.00 higher; slaughter
lambs sold 6.00 higher; slaughter ewes sold 3.00 lower; slaughter rams
7.00 lower on limited test. Billies traded 10.00 lower on a limited
test, nannies sold 4.00 higher, kids and yearlings sold 12.00 higher;
Demand and supply moderate. Sheep made approximately 53 percent of the
offering, 47 percent goats. Sheep are priced on a per hundred weight
basis, all goats are sold per head.
Slaughter lambs: Choice 2-3 100-114 lbs 96.00-109.00.
Feeder lambs: Medium and Large 1-2 40-53 lbs 125.00-135.00; 60-68
lbs 125.00-133.00.
Slaughter ewes: Utility and Good 1-3 wooled 107-164 lbs 41.00-46.00,
Cull 32.00-35.00. Hair: Scarce:
Slaughter bucks: few 160-270 lbs 31.00-35.00.
Replacement ewes: Medium and Large 1-2 bred 120-135 lbs 50.00-52.00
