Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/12/2008
Receipts: 1780 Last Week: 1320
Demand moderate for this week's Joplin's Video Auction. The video
auction was held in conjunction with Joplin's regular Monday feeder
cattle sale. Cattle offered were from Missouri and Oklahoma. Cattle
will be gathered, sorted, loaded, hauled five to twenty miles and weighed
on the truck, exception three loads will weigh on the ground, all with a
two percent pencil shrink. A four cent slide will apply. Supply
included 89 percent steers, 03 percent Holsteins, 08 percent heifers,
with 100 percent over 600 lbs.
