Receipts: 596 Last Week: 739 Year Ago: Not Reported
Compared to the previous Wednesday slaughter lambs over 90 lbs.
3.00-6.00 higher, under 90 lbs. mostly steady. Limited offerings
of feeder lambs steady, slaughter ewes steady, no test on slaughter
bucks. Trade active and demand moderate. Receipts included 78
percent slaughter lambs, 8 percent feeder lambs, 12 percent slaughter
ewes. All sheep sold on a per hundred weight basis.
Goats:
Receipts: 247 Last Week: 130 Year Ago: Not Reported
All goats sold on a per head basis. Trade active and demand
good. Receipts included 52 percent slaughter kids,
22 percent slaughter nannies, 3.5 percent slaughter billies,
10 percent feeder kids.
