Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 04/21/2008
Receipts: 2200 Last Reported Sale: 173 Year Ago: N/A
Trend on feeder cattle not applicable as it has been several weeks
since last reported sale. Today's offering of mostly light to
moderate fleshed feeders were presented to a good number of buyers
with good demand, resulting in an active market. Several pot loads
offered today. Receipts 31 percent steers and 69 percent heifers.
79 percent weighed over 600 lbs. Reporter did not attend the weigh-up
cattle portion of today's sale. Next feeder cattle auction will be May
5 and will feature replacement heifers.
