Pierre Livestock Auction Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/09/2008 Receipts: 3424 Last Week: N/A Year Ago: N/A No recent price comparison so trend on feeder cattle not applicable however, a higher undertone noted. Buyer attendance and demand good to very good. Today's supply mostly grass cattle offered in load lots with several consignments of replacement quality females. Producers in trade area welcomed much needed moisture and green pastures. Steers comprised 51 percent of the offering; heifers 49 percent. 95 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Next feeder cattle sale will be May 23rd, with the 11th annual WLAC Anniversary Sale June 6th.
