MORNING FARM PRICES:
In Sioux Falls, SD barrows and gilts sold steady on a light test. Compared
to last week?s close: Barrows and gilts finished steady to 2.00 lower. Sows
closed the week 5.00-6.00 higher. Receipts this week near 2150 including 143
feeder pigs compared to 1900 last week and 3565 including 1058 feeder pigs a
year ago.

TERMINAL SLAUGHTER CATTLE- Friday May 16, 2008. There are no estimated
slaughter cattle on offer this morning in Terminal Markets.
AFTERNOON NATIONAL SLAUGHTER CATTLE REVIEW- Thursday May 15, 2008. Trading was
light in Nebraska and Iowa/Minnesota with light demand. Trading was mostly
inactive in all other feeding regions. Not enough sales reported to establish a
market trend. Last week live sales in the South Plains sold at 94.00. Dressed
sales in Kansas traded from 148.50-149.00. Last week in Colorado and Nebraska
live sales traded at 94.00 while Iowa/Minnesota traded at 92.00. Dressed sales
in Nebraska and Iowa/Minnesota sold from 147.00-149.00 while Colorado sold at
147.00.

NATIONAL SHEEP SUMMARY CLOSE- Thursday May 15, 2008. At Ft. Collins, CO
slaughter lambs steady, slaughter ewes 3.00-5.00 higher and feeder lambs not
well tested. At Kalona, IA slaughter lambs uneven, lambs over 100 lbs 4.00-5.00
higher, under 90 lbs 6.00 lower, slaughter ewes 3.00 lower and feeder lambs
steady. At El Reno, OK not enough offered for a test. Equity Electronic
Auction sold 200 slaughter lambs in Wisconsin.
