Prices steady. Trade and movement remain light. Demand moderate to good.
Available supplies limited in most areas. Reports that a lot of alfalfa acres
are being planted into corn or beans this spring. Eastern Wyoming and western
Nebraska remain dry. Good moisture from snow reported in South Dakota. All
prices dollars per ton FOB stack in medium to large square bales and rounds,
unless otherwise noted. Horse hay in small squares. Prices are from the most
recent reported sales.
Eastern Wyoming
New Crop: Alfalfa contract 119.00 plus .70 per point over 170 RFV; large squares
90.00.
Old Crop: Alfalfa - Supreme 135.00-150.00; Premium 120.00-135.00; Good 110.00-
