Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 08/06/2008
Receipts: 1750 Two Weeks Ago: 1900 Year Ago: 0
Compared to two weeks ago; feeder steers and heifers trended
fully steady. The bulk of offerings were good quality yearlings
coming off grass. There was also good demand for a short list of
fall calving cows. Receipts consisted of 92 percent feeders and
08 percent bred stock. Of the feeder offerings; 52 percent steers
and 48 percent heifers, 100 percent over 600 pounds. Wedensday,
August 20 is the next scheduled auction.
